In reply to Dino. Being that it is Lionel Messi, I'm sure he has requested modifications during wear. But as of this past summer, adidas had confirmed he was wearing the same as the released version.

Alright, so he plays the same upper without the lining texture.

Pretty unusual that he use the synthetic version, the leather boots always have better feel and touch imo.

Did adidas tell you anything else about his own specific boots ? I find these things interesting.
